The original sweet bean paste Ang Ku Kueh(the one at the bottom!) was hot

when I got it so I ate it immediately! The skin was nice and chewy and the filling was very smooth

Adding some #colour into my life through #Kueh. I met some unconventional flavours of the

beloved ang ku kueh - salted bean and yam today! The salted bean has a dash of savoury flavours while the yam is basically orh nee in a package.

Each colour represents a filling from the traditional mung bean and peanuts to coconut and corn. I love popping them into my mouth especially when they are served warm from the steamer!

My favourite go-to snack (even when it's near dinner time)! 😋 Bought the peanut, sweet

and salted (the lonely one among reds) yellow bean flavours. The skin is so soft and chewy with delicious smooth or crunchy (peanut) fillings. This is from the Toa Payoh branch.
