So happy that I’m able to eat Akamaru again! The broth was surprisingly close
to the original tonkotsu just thought spicy miso could have been spicier. Soy chashu was like tender chicken. Hope they make chachu buns with this! Overall big thumbs up!

Had as well the extra serving o( Kaedama ) noodles. Will be back for more. Hopefully they don’t take this off their menu!
I added their crushed garlic & chilli oil (layu) to amp it up a little.
I absolutely loved the porcini oil that added an extra umami oomph! ordered the noodles to be very hard and it was just right HAHAHA soup to noodle ratio is just right if you don’t want to slurp on soup at the end (but I wanted to and there was no more soup!) chashu was alright, kinda tasted like normal Chinese mock meat to me tbh, with a similar texture as well. didnt replicate the same shreddy and meaty texture or smoky flavour of actual chashu but it was alright I suppose
