Bak Kut Teh with brown rice

Got the combo meal so this is a smaller portion. Which is good for me!

The soup is nicely flavored, good level of herbs and pepper. The rice was slightly soggy for me though~ they added half a hard boiled egg, so vegans might want to request to remove.

Value set for $9.90 which includes a medium BKT, brown rice and prosperity tea (taste

like chrysanthemum). The rice is a surprise cos it tasted like nasi lemak (pandan)! Love how they are so generous with the monkey mushroom. Requested no egg for vegan version. Only downside: soup is a bit salty
