Love the super gao yet non-bitter (aka good quality) matcha here :’) The cake is
on the dense side with an almost fudgey/mousse-like texture and the matcha cream isn’t cloying at all! #matcha #sgcakes

This was surprisingly executed well as vegan cakes tend to be more dry but this
wasnt dry at all. In fact, it was decently moist (wonder how they do it) and taste was not at all compromised despite absence of eggs and dairy. It was not very sweet and the matcha content is legit. Definitely a win for matcha lovers. I enjoyed this better than their houjicha cake. Would definitely be back to try other cakes :D

If you've tried their other matcha tasting cake that is sweet, you will be quite
caught off by this. This is bitter as hell. I thought it would taste a tad bit of sweet but no, it was straight out bitter. I only took a few bites and didn't want it anymore. If you like really bitter stuff, this is probably for you. I'm more of a sweet tooth so this isn't my kind of dish.
The texture of this cake is nice and fluffy, the icing is spongy and smooth.
But I find the matcha taste quite strong.
Not too sweet and the taste of matcha comes through very nicely, but I'm a
sucker for the mont blancs so this was not as impressive
