First up, there's egg at the bottom of the Mee Sua. But you can request to remove it! (Is it me, or is there no vegetarian and vegan option for food reviews anymore?)
There's always something comforting about Mee Sua, isn't it? The taste of the dish is quite balanced, just savoury enough so I can taste the sweetness of the carrots and the veggie juices from the celery and kai lan. Protein in the form of tofu mixed beans. No mock meat! If only there were more of the black fungus (yes, greedy me!). Oh, I think the portion is good for 2 small eaters. But if you can/ need to eat more, then it should be sufficiently filling.
