It's exciting to see pani puri on a menu around here! This is a classic street food consisting of crisp flour puffs filled with spiced potatoes and served with a thin sauce of tamarind, cumin, salt, mint, cilantro, cayenne, and chaat masala. I've only had this dish once and that was in Chicago. It's a cold dish, so it's a perfect snack on a hot day. I was so excited to have @jonok try it! They're a fun thing to eat. You dip the potato filled puff into the thin sauce to fill up the cavity. You need to eat it all in one bite since it's now filled with the sauce. They're a bit big, so it can be hard to shove it all in your mouth! The puff is very brittle though, so once it's in your mouth it's easy to savor and eat. #panipuri #golgappa #potatolover #potato #snack #chaat #streetfood #indianfood #appetizer #mint #cilantro #crispy
