This was an absolute joy. An ice cream made solely from cocoa almonds and bananas,
topped with more berries, fruits and granola. Bit of sprinkles (coconut flakes and Chia seeds) and you have pure heaven in a cup. With no added sugar, and all the flavour coming from the fruits and nuts themselves, this was a pure treat.
Guilt-free Indulgence is a plant-based stall serving fresh amazing super bowls and shakes. Extremely vegan-friendly menu; I think honey is the only non-vegan option on their list of toppings, and the staff will very kindly check with you if you wish to exclude it from your bowl. The food here is simply amazing. Indulgence for the whole family indeed.
$6.90 for a regular size. The smoothie base was made from natural cocoa, almond butter,
and bananas. Very rich and creamy with an intensely aromatic cocoa taste. Topped with assorted fresh fruits, chia seeds, and a maple nut brittle. I appreciated the fact that there was additional protein from the pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds, and they were baked in a little maple syrup so there was the right level of sweetness and nuttiness. Overall impressive to me as a dark choc lover, compared to other F&Bs which serve disgustingly artificially sweet chocolate flavoured items.
Kallang Wave mall brands itself as a hub for the sporty and health conscious. But
my gripe is that it has few options for vegos.
However in a sea of carnist grub lies a small vegan dessert stall selling “nice cream” made from blended frozen bananas. This one is mixed with cocoa and topped with strawberries, blueberries, chia and coconut flakes.
Light and refreshing dessert. Try the almond milk to go with! It's thicccc and warm!
Super yums! Creamy & flavourful. A bit pricey for its size.
