On the way back to #cairns from #Daintree, part of the tour was to stop

by this ice cream place which was known for their dairy ice cream made by this lady who’s been serving ice cream to tourist for decades.

So tbh I was expecting to get nothing at this stop but was happy to see that she’s catering for #dairyfree and/or #vegan tourist who come through so thank you to all the vegans or dairy free and peeps who came before me to get her thinking about adding a #veganoption

Sad to be giving a bad review for this ‘ice cream’ but unfortunately, this was

a pretty big disappointment. They had one vegan option (which was nice to see they’re making the effort), but to be honest, it tasted like they’d just frozen some strawberry yogurt. It was all flakey and icy, and not at all creamy - maybe something had gone wrong in the freezing process…? The lady serving us was very sweet and the garden for sitting was cute, but unfortunately can’t recommend the vegan ice cream option.
