Lion Mane Satay
If you are there alone or in groups, this is a must

order dish!! The satay is made of breaded mushrooms and the satay sauce was delicious. We can’t get enough of the satay sauce until we requested for another 1 from the stall.
This is located at Funan Mall B1-30, Operation Hours : 11:30am to 9:30pm (Last order : 8:45pm). 😉

The nicely marinated and satayed mushroom kebabs slather them w the most godiva satay sauce

I like the presentation where The satay sticks are placed on top a piece of

banana leave. The onions are creatively replaced with cherry tomatoes.

However, The satay isn’t the best I have eaten. It doesn’t taste like Lions Mane mushrooms. The sauce is alright too. It doesn’t have the wow factor.

The best satay I have tasted is from the vegetarian hawker at Punggol One - that is my favourite 🤩

Family wanted to try the lion mane satay so we ordered this. This dish came

with lion mane mushroom skewers, generous amount of peanut sauce and some cucumbers and cherry tomatoes for a refreshing taste! Overall I find that the skewers were not particularly outstanding on its own but it pairs well with the peanut sauce. They were extremely generous with the peanut sauce (we couldn't even finish it!). I would prefer the peanut sauce to be a little more spicy as it is kinda sweet to me. Nevertheless, the sauce is still fragrant and it goes well with the fried rice, other mains too!

I ordered this again bcos i am so crazy over their satay sauce.
6 sticks

of satay with each stick having 3 pieces, served with the cucumber n cherry tomatoes.
That satay sauce,i wld buy it again if they sell it just on its own.

Thoroughly enjoyed this vegan version of satay. The lions mane texture really feels like a

well cooked and juicy chicken (or better then chicken). Although the peanut sauce is a little sweeter than I would like, it still goes well with the “satay”.

The best vegan satay hands down! The texture is just as chewy as the “normal”

one, and the sauce is spot on, not so sweet, perfectly season with a hint of spicy! And the cucumber and tomato is a very good palette cleanser and very fresh when you dip it into the peanut sauce

This was the best vegan satay I have had up to date. It had a

good peanut sauce and the mushrooms were well seasoned and fried. They provided a juicy, meaty like texture and didn’t have a strong mushroom flavour.

Delicious! One of my favorite takes on satay in Singapore. The lion mane bites are

crispy and seasoned perfectly. This is the reason I go back to Flavors by Saute - really recommend.

I love satays made of lion mane mushrooms, and this one was perfectly chewy and

seasoned.
