Just the tiniest bit but more tangy and pickly than bitter. Definitely try them. Especially since the cold cucumber there isn’t even vegetarian

Vikas seem like these bitter melons are Chinese  which is big and less bitter then Indian small ones . 😘 

I make touch of brown sugar and fresh green mango or termrind paste which makes yummy sweet and sour tasty 😋 

For years my mom used to make us Karela, which is what we call bitter melon or bitter gourd in India. As a kid it tastes so bitter and awful! So I’ve never ordered these before at #dintaifung but thought I’d try them and they were amazing! Served chilled and marinated in a soybean paste, they tasted like a tangy pickle and were super refreshing. Crazy how I’m becoming like my parents... 🤭

Crunchy and mildly bitter bitter gourd finished with a light and salty black bean sauce. A good side dish to order if you don’t mind the bitter taste, I enjoyed it.
