For years my mom used to make us Karela, which is what we call bitter
melon or bitter gourd in India. As a kid it tastes so bitter and awful! So I’ve never ordered these before at #dintaifung but thought I’d try them and they were amazing! Served chilled and marinated in a soybean paste, they tasted like a tangy pickle and were super refreshing. Crazy how I’m becoming like my parents... 🤭
