Dark Hericium Satay Sticks

Finally tried #lionsmanemushroom, first time ever! The texture was so interesting, and while I don’t think it was reminiscent of meat it was very chewy and enjoyable. The satay sauce was soooo good, I could have drunk it alone. Unfortunately, the serving size was just way too small for the price. Only 2 satay sticks for like 16RM…. That feels like overkill. #overpriced #satay #malaysianeats

trying Pinxin at last! we visited Penang on a weekend that was apparently also the Nine Emperor Gods Festival, which meant a lot of people eating vegetarian then & almost all the vegan/vegetarian restaurants were fully packed 😅 so we ordered takeout instead ☺️ first was these dark hericium satay - absolute delicious! & the sauce was just mouthwatering yum 🤤 🥰
