For dessert, I got the New York Cheesecake, a childhood favourite! Damn was this slice huge! I forget how big portions are here in the US, especially for desserts. Glad I had my family here to share it with me cuz I wouldn’t have been able to finish it. It was incredible though! The flavour and texture of the cheesecake resembled a nonvegan version so closely, so creamy, light, and cheesy. The base was made with walnuts and coconut which I thought was unique and very delicious. I loved the burnt parts at the back of the cheesecake, giving it a nice texture. The strawberry sauce was pretty sweet, and although it complimented the cheesecake nicely I think it would have been nicer to have a homemade one, as this one tasted a bit synthetic. #cheesecakelover #sweettooth
A vegan cheesecake? I think yes. The texture was amazing, the taste was almost on par and the presentation paired with the atmosphere made this absolutely delightful. + it followed a completely plant-based delicious Americana meal.
