Claypot rice

Claypot rice with monkeyhead mushrooms (eggless at this outlet according to several staff members I

checked with), broccoli, tricolour bell pepper, and carrot slices. The rice wasn't charred and crispy like I would expect from claypot rice; it was instead quite moist and drenched in dark soy sauce. Something I would order again and again. The monkeyhead mushroom was delicious, and so were

the fried ginger slices and sesame rice!

This wasn’t cheap at $7.50 but I really enjoyed this! The rice was so flavourful

and gingery. And though I don’t tend to love mock meat, the mock scallops (mushroom) were really good! Would have liked more veg in the dish though- perhaps some leafy greens rather than tomatoes.

Very delicious monkey head mushroom and flavoured rice! Recommended strongly!

This dish exceeded my expectations! It was really tasty and the flavours really came through.

Agree with earlier reviews that this was indeed delicious. I particularly liked the smoky flavored

rice. I think the cook was in a good mood today. Compared to the pictures in earlier reviews, my claypot was chockfull of vegetables and mushrooms and I only found the rice after some digging… Lol 😁
