Crispy Kangkung

This is honestly the star dish of this restaurant 🌟 My friend actually said it’s the first time he actually found kangkung to be palatable 😂 Just battered and deep fried! I’m a huge fan of deep frying vegetables myself, usually going for crispy kailan minus the batter, but the way they did this was unique 😋 One, they battered it which is odd on its own cause most places that do crispy vegetables don’t and secondly, the batter was very very light unlike what I think most places would do if they were to batter food 🤤 The result is a crispy, but not too much, lot of vegetables with a carby greasy mix in each bite. Amazing! The serving is pretty large too and between the 3 of us we had a hard time finishing it 😅 Not that we could stop eating it though! #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease #bestpicks

I don't have the superlatives for this one. Phenomenal 🤤🤤🤤 #crispy, flavourful, satisfying, and not at all too heavy. The #kangkong puffs up when it's fried, so it looks like there's more than there actually is. This is a starter that serves four (by right); we had it instead of a vegetable main 😏 The pairing with the sweet chilli sauce worked very well too. If veggies were all like this I'd have no problem eating them ☺️ Swipe right for one of KL's coolest walls 😚

I really enjoyed this as a starter - lightly battered, deep fried with a decent crisp, and paired with a perfect dipping sauce This dish comes at a hefty cost though 🤣

I LOVED this. We had it as a starter and I’d best describe it as Asian kale chips but better - might be bias cause I love kangkung. Would highly recommend getting this!
