My favorite Filipino dish is kare-kare, not adobe nor sinigang, that’s why I’m so glad Cosmic offers a vegan version of this classic recipe. The bagnet made from soy meat has the perfect crunch and taste, and the sauce is superb. I don’t usually eat bagoong with my kare-kare. If you do, try tasting the bagoong made from beans separately first. Sorry, but for me it doesn’t enhance the dish’s taste. Seen on the photo is their vegan isaw, which I love. I don’t even eat the animal meat isaw. Enoki mushroom tempura and the tempura sauce are superb. Cosmic also offers frozen vegan meats (mushroom burger, tapa, tocino, bagnet, etc.) Priced just right (280+ for 480-500 grams/pack).
