One of my favorite places in New York! Coletta Restaurant. We had this amazing Crispy

Calamari -
King oyster mushroom rings, parsley lemon sauce, herb marinara, lemon. So good!! Crunchy and flavorful.

🇧🇷 Restaurante Italiano Vegano em NYC. “Lula Frita”, feita de Cogumelos. Tão bom! Crocante e muito saboroso!

AMAZING!! These fried “calamari” are actually made of mushroom and they are so amazing! The

garlic sauce they bring with them is also very good!!

These were sooo yummy! I've never had squid calamari before, but these fried oyster mushroom

rings were perfect deep fried goodness! They were fresh out of the fryer and amazing with some lemon squeezed over them. They were also really great in the lemon parsley sauce that was served with them. The marinara was nice too, but I liked the fresh citrus to balance the fried batter. @jonok says they're way better than squid calamari because they don't have that weird chewy texture! This starter is $17.

Coletta is owned by the same people behind Anixi, Beyond Sushi, and Willow. It's more on the fine dining end, but not as fancy and expensive as Anixi. Coletta focuses more on Italian dishes.

This

was favored by everyone at the table, and we order an extra one. I liked the parsley lemon sauce.
Coletta is a really good restaurant to go especially with non-vegan friends.

Made from hearts of palm. The green basil dipping sauce was very tasty! It's a

delicious dish!
