Cocobella is an all-vegan ice cream shop offering dairy-free, gluten-free, and nut-free ice cream of
a wide assortment of 16 flavors daily. Not only do they offer your favorite classics, like Cookies & Cream and Mint Chip, but they also create their own unique flavors, with their most notable one being Unicorn Magic, which is vanilla ice cream with marshmallows, animal crackers, and sprinkles. All of their ice cream uses a base of coconut milk! Cocobella is actually right next to Doomie’s Home Cookin’, a vegan comfort food joint (that I have reviewed!), so right after you eat your heart out at Doomie’s, you can head on over to Cocobella for a sweet treat. I ordered Cocobella’s Hot Fudge Sundae, a decadent vegan ice cream sundae with vanilla and chocolate ice creams, hot fudge, whipped cream, toasted almonds, brownies, and a cherry on top. This sundae was SO good. The combination of the hot fudge with the cool ice cream brought me right back to my childhood, when I shamelessly enjoyed ice cream sundaes from Dairy Queen all the time. My favorite part of the sundae was honestly the brownies, with were super chocolatey and gooey and sooo good. I also really loved the addition of the toasted almonds - I thought it added a really nice nexture. One thing to note about Cocobella’s ice cream is that the coconut flavor is really strong, so if you’re not a big fan of coconut, then you probably won’t like their ice cream all that much. I, however, happen to be a huge coconut lover, so I thoroughly enjoyed the ice cream here!
