Yeah, good luck tellling their #carrotcake and #yamcake apart 🙈 They look similar and taste pretty similar too! ..which to me just reads as this being a bad carrot cake 🫣 Surely the skin could do for a bit more char? At least for the texture?? 😅 That doesn’t stop me from getting either every time I’ve eaten here though! We all gotta fill our voids somehow 🥲
Soft yet firm, with mushrooms bits as well as shredded radish and carrot. Tasty and not too greasy! Great with their housemade chilli sauce. ($1.50) P.S. Do support them before their organic farm Fireflies Health Farm closes down at the end of July! Last day of operation is 31 May for the People's Park branch and 30 June for the VivoCity branch.
$1.50. Lovely thick piece of carrot cake with the right amount of firmness and real radish shreds inside! Would be 5 stars if it was served hot. Much better than the Nature Cafe one that’s way too soft
Very tasty also. Soft and Good. Feel like eating ten pieces at one go.
Very value for money, 3 sides for $4.50 and very big portion - best for sharing rather than single person eat. This was savoury and sticky with glutinous flour. Kinda a typical Chinese snack I wasn't super into, since I'm not really a kueh person. Happy to find a vegan version regardless. Maybe with chilli would have more oomph I got without chilli. I liked the tofu the best but I liked this more than the yam cake.
