Breakfast Torta

This was an incredible breakfast sandwich. It's HUGE and perfect for sharing. This colorful sandwich had king trumpet mushroom 'bacon', avocado, mung bean frittata, smoked provolone, refried black beans, purple cabbage slaw, heirloom tomato, cherry peppers, mole mayo on whole wheat Kaiser bread. It was only $13 as well. That's such a great value. They flavors are so great, and it's definitely a good way to get in some healthy plants! It's a bit messy so make sure you ask for napkins if you're on the go! This sandwich is another beauty from Guevara's. It has king trumpet mushroom 'bacon', avocado, mung bean frittata, smoked provolone, refried black beans, purple cabbage slaw, heirloom tomato, cherry peppers, and mole mayo in a whole wheat kaiser roll. The mung bean egg is so soft and just melts right in your mouth. The king trumpet mushroom bacon is until anything I've had before. When I first found it in my sandwich I was confused because it seemed a big woody, but I didn't enjoy it although it didn't have much of a strong flavor. Now THIS is what you call a breakfast sandwich 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 chock full of fillings: mushroom bacon, avocado, mung bean frittata, refried beans, slaw, tomatoes, mayo and provolone on the freshest kaiser roll. Flavour and texture explosion in the best way, I’d be hard pressed to find a breakfast sandwich better than this one 🏆
