Adding fried kale to the toast was definitely a great way to add texture to
this dish. The sprouted beans also is a nice addition. One of the most original avocado toasts in town, also a bit costly.

be a BIT more ripe but enjoyed the citrus taste and mushrooms nevertheless!
Love the bread as Bessie’s around it !
or something. A little plain for me
if it’s just me, but “smashed” is fresh, bright green avo that is still quite chunky and not overly processed. What I got was a whipped, grey-green mush on top of bread that was overly toasted and hard to chew. Granted, the avo did have a nice flavor (I think they added dukkah), but everything else was not great. The garnish looked nice but the big chunks of raw undressed kale were not really edible. The dish my husband had was also not good. Sadly, I don’t think we will be going back here, at least not for breakfast.
