Review of Avocado toast at Botany Robertson Quay by jenniferj1s

The name of this dish on the menu is “Smashed Avocado Toast.” I’m not sure if it’s just me, but “smashed” is fresh, bright green avo that is still quite chunky and not overly processed. What I got was a whipped, grey-green mush on top of bread that was overly toasted and hard to chew. Granted, the avo did have a nice flavor (I think they added dukkah), but everything else was not great. The garnish looked nice but the big chunks of raw undressed kale were not really edible. The dish my husband had was also not good. Sadly, I don’t think we will be going back here, at least not for breakfast.
