Blended Strawberry Lemonade

I didn’t have high hopes for this, because more often than not, I’m disappointed in Starbucks beverages, but I’m a regular customer because their marketing tactics keep bringing me back. On this day, their drinks were 50% off. It was a particularly warm day, and I had a 30 min drive from this area, so I thought why not. The texture was like their frapuccinos, a slush. For a frap, I don’t like that. For this tart and fruity drink, it was perfect and refreshing. Strawberry puree, white grape juice, and other fruits are added for color to this lemonade. I like how Starbucks not only allows you to use your own cup, like I did here, in a ceramic Starbucks cup I acquired there with all the points I had earned, but they even give incentives to do so. There’s a small discount and you get extra reward points. This cup I think is meant for hot drinks, but it kept my lemonade nice and cold and slushy throughout my drive, so I was able to savor it a lot longer then I would have if it was in a disposable cup, especially since a rarely use a/c. . #lemonade #strawberry #refresher #onthego #summer
