Bao Buns

tofu karaage, gai lan & yuzu slaw, lime kewpie mayo, japanese pickled cucumber These are just TERRIFIC! Every morsel is beyond gorgeous. A must have when visiting this restaurant!

I’ve been to Mila a couple of times now and everything is delicious. Tried the tofu karaage bao bun and it was delicious. Great crunch, perfect slaw and perfect texture on the bun. Looking forward to going back.

These lacked texture and flavour. They were incredibly bland. I wish they would’ve marinated the tempeh then baked or fried them to have them crunchy instead. Sounded great from the description but was disappointing.

Soft warm buns with pickles veggies and tempeh. <3

I'm not normally a fan of tempeh, but the vegan bao buns at M!LA are beyond fantastic. Two good-sized buns filled with hoisin tempeh, pickled onion + cucumber, sambal aioli, cilantro, and crispy shallots. I could have eaten a dozen!
