Banana Cake with Homemade Hazelnut Spread (Vegan)

Olsen Bakehouse has recently moved to a beautiful shophouse along Joo Chiat Road! They are known for their all-natural and less sugar bakes. There were two vegan options for their sliced cakes when I visited - Banana Hazelnut and Chocolate Fudge. This banana hazelnut cake was moist, light and delicious. Sweetness level was perfect! The hazelnut spread reminded me of Nutella. Would order again!

received this as a gift and it was so good🥺 heated this up in the microwave for 45s and it was so warm and comforting!!!! the banana taste was very strong which I loved hehe. not too sweet! it’s kind of like a banana bread but fluffier!!!:D really moist!! I like the structural integrity of this cake bc it doesn’t crumble apart like most vegan cakes do so hehe. only wondering why there’s a thick and more dense layer at the bottom but o wells! STILL REALLY GOOD thankful that they offer a vegan option and a really good one too hehe #veganuary

The hazelnut crumbs and homemade hazelnut spread (aka vegan Nutella) on top add a really nice twist to this classic banana cake! A vegan cake from their cake collection, the taste of the banana cake was not spectacular but the vegan Nutella was very nice. Presentation was lovely. Came with a candle upon request and a cute knife. #chocoholic
