What a unique, pretty, delicious drink! 🍹 They only use oat milk, no dairy! Chung
is a handmade puree of fresh fruits and sugar - I could really taste the puree and sweetness of the sugar (I think they use raw sugar). Such a delicious mix, and they have their own reusable straws printed with the cafe name. You need to mix the drink to drink it, as the oat milk on top won't be sweet and bottom very sweet initially! It's very yummy to sip the sweet flavoured oat milk and also scoop bits and slices of strawberry to eat! 🍓 this was extremely comforting and helpful for me to wash down the extremely spicy pasta. I had to ask for additional water too cos of how spicy it was.
To top it all off, they drizzled dark chocolate syrup 🍫 around the whole cup. Such pretty presentation but I felt pretty awkward to have to scrape all the chocolate to eat it.
I'd like to suggest that the cafe also label which drinks are vegan and things contained e.g. dairy/honey, and specify that oat milk is used instead of dairy as I didn't know until I asked the staff. Their food menu clearly labels the vegan dishes and those that can be made vegan so the drinks should follow suit.
Such a unique drink, cost $7.90++ but I think it's ok for the novelty. This place is more classy. It has an attached pottery studio which is a super cool concept!
