This is my second time trying El Borracho. The first time it was a Saturday night around ten pm, they do not close till midnight but the menu was cut down to a handfull of dishes for the night. Food was less that impressive so I wanted to give it another go in the day.
I got two tacos, a tinga and al pastor. The al pastor was mushroom based but to be honest (it may be personal) but it the look of it grossed me out (it reminded me of liver or something). The flavor was not there, as someone natuve from Mexico city I can tell you this was NOT al pastor, at all. Dissapointing. It just reminds me of a better presented taco bell, in terms of flavor and quality.
You have to order contactless on your phone regardless of time if day.It is a great location, a short walk from Pike's market in Seattle, WA. This Mexican restaurant is fully vegan with a full bar and has street parking which can be hard to come by based on time of day.
