Relegated the #burger to the background just to accentuate its puny size 🥺 Had I

not also had starter and dessert I would've left #stillhungry 😬 For $26 (including a $4 top-up for the #saltedegg version of the #sweetpotatofries, itself a superb standalone that I'd also recommend), I would've expected a more generous serving.

The flavour was excellent though. The #tofish was surprisingly firm + crispy considering that they oven-baked rather than fried it. Not gonna complain it's too healthy 😂 The #cashewcream and #sambal paste gave it a nice balance of richness and spice 😋 I'm not one for #salad but the one here was very impressive - tangy and leafy and tasty.

Served on a pretty wooden board 👍

This fish patty was more like otah otah rather than your traditional fish burger. Although.

Or what I expected I think it is better than most vegan fish burger that tries to imitate fish. It’s on par with the smoke stack burger which is also very tasty. I would definitely have this again next time. Don’t forget to ask for more sauce on the side! The dish is small but surprisingly filling although I did eat everything including every single potato wedge (which was wonderfully seasoned)

Intriguing 🧐 More so since we opted for brown rice #patties over a bun 🍔

I’m not a fan of #hamburger anyways so this, framed as rice 🍚 & #veganfish 🐟 worked much better in my head anyways. Especially so since we cut it up in 4 to share; #veganfriends ftw 🙌 The #burger was actually quite spicy 🥵 I could see @m1tch9i having to hold back her bites 🤭 The #patty is supposedly made with firm #tofu but really it mad more a bean-like texture to me 🤷‍♀️ Also in there was #sambal, source of all that #spicy, some wakame seaweed, tomatoes 🍅, cucumber slices 🥒, #cashewcream, sliced romaine lettuce 🥬, & dehydrated onions 🧅 but if I’m being really honest, I noticed none of that 😂 It was just a decent burger, but nothing to brag about. Perhaps in a more burger-esque mood, maybe, and perhaps with a proper bun instead. It’s decent, but not S$22 decent in my book 😴

It’s unfortunate to admit but I don’t recall all too much about eating this 🤔

I had to refer back to @dafnelately’s review to remember that it set my mouth aflame 🥵

We opted for the #brownrice bun that turned out so much more rewardingly crunchy than expected 😋 The #cashewcream was my heroic rescue to the #spicy #fishburger 😝 There was a decent amount of savouriness that got padded by the refreshing layer of greens 😛 My main critique actually goes to the #sweetpotatofries being not of the crispy persuasion 🫤 but this is a more healthy establishment to begin with 🙃

$22 is on the steeper side for a burger but it makes sense… 🤓

Pretty good if you’re in the mood for a burger 😗

Oh I didn’t even have much of the burger 🤭 From whatever it was that

@stevenneoh kindly donated to me #forthedollar, I wasn’t too impressed 🐠 I was really only after the salad for the the rockets 🚀 cause someone took far to heart that veganism isn’t about eating salads and/or being healthy 😉 It was a pretty good salad though! Some sort of balsamic dressing on top if I’m not mistaken. Honestly though, exchanging bits of food for that extra dollar is the kind of #abillionhacks I’m all about 😗

🍔🍠🥗Great tasting! Very impressed how burger could be made with a raw food interpretation, but

not boring. In fact, it's flavorful! I opted to add the salted eggless yolk, just to get the whole works 😆 #rawfood #wfpb #veganinsingapore #vegan

The oven baked fvsh patty made from firm tofu, wakame seaweed, sambal chilli paste, with

mixed vegetables and sweet potatoes fries. We chose the brown rice instead of bread, crispy & crunchy and yummy ❤️

Nice brown rice patty. The sweet potatoes fries is not fried so is healthier too.

The tofu patty taste nice as well and can feel the spice in it. The salad is dress in vinegar.

The patty is made from tofu and sambal drizzled with cashew cream. It’s a little

spicy for someone who doesn’t eat a lot of spicy food like me. But overall still quite tasty! The serving of sweet potato fries is quite generous.

When it comes to Afterglow, I would find it hard to give anything a low

rating because everytime I eat their food, it’s a happy party for my tastebuds!

This is the Spiced Fvsh Burger with a side of Salted Eggl-less Sweet Potato Fries. (I will review the fries in a separate post.)

If you like spicy, this is for you! Undoubtedly, some spice lovers will want to add more spice to this already spicy burger but for me who has low-mid spice tolerance, the spice was great!

I ordered mine with bread but you can also opt for lettuce “buns” or rice.

The sambal chilli had the right kick with the chance to be slightly cooled by the creaminess of the cashew cream, which had a nice salad cream like consistency, and the fresh tomatoes and cucumber. The patty was flavoursome, chewy, cooked well, and filled with flavour. I forgot it was tofu! I’m super super glad it came with a fresh salad because it added some nice freshness and gentleness to the flavourful burger. The size was good (I know some might find it small for $20, but for me, it’s about the ingredients used and how it satisfies my hunger, not just the size). The burger buns weren’t thick which I loved. There was also a kind of herbiness and smokiness in after taste to the mix of flavours - subtly so, but it was there and was nice!

This is a great burger from Afterglow!

I love that they let me collect it in my own container too.
