Premium Karubi Don with Miso Soup set

Enjoyed the chewy texture of Next Meats plant based 'yakiniku', did not get jelat of

the texture or taste, and overall great seasoning. Filling portion of well cooked japanese rice and tasty miso soup. I will wanna get this again! Priced $13.80.
I actually prefer the $15.80 one because it is stirfried with onions and cabbages and is more 'juicy' and oily (in a pleasant way), but note the $15.80 one comes topped with an egg yolk which you can omit.

Karubi Don consists of plant based yakinku meats, Next Meats, using karubi made with soybean

proteins. Was really blown away by the taste and texture of this yakinku next meats! It was nicely grilled. Good size portion too! Really hoped that it will be permanent on their menu!

Solid restaurant meal though on the price is on the higher side at $15++. V

The meat is made from Next Meats, it’s seasoned really well and really yummy! The

dish is also served with pickled veggies and miso soup. Overall it makes for a filling meal #veganisnotscary

I loved the charred flavour

from the “meat” and mushrooms and I’m glad it wasn’t too salty. The portion was generous as well. Really wish they would add this to their regular menu.

Although Japanese restaurants rarely offer vegetarian/vegan foods in Singapore, this Japanese chain is one of

the few exceptions. The combination of mushroom, “meat”, and rice is simple, yet delicious. Their rice is just great and cooked to perfection. If you have $15 to spend on food and you are nearby this area, don’t hesitate to treat yourself to this! Note that they changed the menu recently and you don’t get a miso soup with your don anymore.

Super good!! I hope they make this dish permanent on their menu. Must try!!

I like it a lot? the mushroom and next meat is well seasoned and the

texture of next meat is very similar to meat - so it is something I would introduce my meat eater friends to (if they love jap and meaty texture). its a little pricey and the portion could be a bit more if possible? I feel like I would need to eat 2 of it just to be full... or maybe I was just hungry 😅

Second time trying at a different outlet. Really meaty texture that would surprise all your

meaty friends. It’s made with soy protein.
