Edit: I really like this when the soup and rice are separated! The vegetables are
super sweet, crunchy and juicy and the chopped peanuts add such a good salty flavour to the whole dish:) thereās also some bits of yellowish brown stuff which Iām not sure what they are but they are sweet and tastyš after my second try with this, I order this very often!
Nut free version with loads of greens and well-balanced out with clean tasting tea. Would
have preferred tofu over caipoh though.

Haven't had thunder tea rice since circuit breaker and it was a nice soothing dish.
I added a vegetable fritter which you see in the photo. $5.50. I'm surprised they didn't have tofu but the peanuts added a great crunch and flavour. I find that thunder tea stalls usually dilute the thunder tea more than I'd like, it was the case here, but still quite an enjoyable and filling meal.
So happy to stumble upon another stall in the East that sells Lei Cha Fan!!

Not sure if my leichafan had a larger portion of veg cos I omitted rice since they didnāt have any more brown rice left ):
The veggies were very crunchy, salty savoury and sweet all at once. Love the range of veg, the mixture of textures between the stalks, peanuts, leafs etc.

Do note itās +0.20 +0.20 for each takeaway container for veg rice and tea soup separately. If taking away, bring your own container for sustainability if possible āØ
Would love to try the storeās other menus. Besides rice/noodle stand-alone meal options, you also can choose individual dishes economy rice style.
