This was a really tasty (albeit pricey) pulut hitam. It was thick and creamy, with the perfect amount of sweetness and a slight saltiness to balance everything out.

The coconut-based sauce was creamy and complemented the juicy king oyster mushrooms well. Went really well with the nasi goreng. I would say it’s quite a rich dish though so it’s perfect in smaller quantities and paired more

This dish was so darn delicious, with delicious crunchy bits, tofu and kangkong. It was also spicy, which worked out for me since I absolutely love spicy food. Would get this again in a heartbeat next time!

Wasn’t the biggest fan of this, as the pastry was quite dry and the filling was minimal (also not sure how Taiwan or water chestnut features in this dish). Wouldn’t get this again.

This is pretty delicious almond milk (technically almond and soy), that’s also high in protein (11g per serving). It was a tad too sweet for my liking, but delicious nonetheless.
