This vegan restaurant has just opened in One Museum Place a food extravaganza of a plaza in Shanghai.
I was thrilled to try it out and really impressed by the experience.
This beautifully prepared and presented #tempeh is sensational. It garnered praise from the whole family.
The tempeh was placed on a banana leaf and topped with eryngium foetidum something I’ve never come across. It turns out to be long or wild coriander which is one of those greens that you just know is doing you good. Yunnan fragrant willow leaves, mint leaf, basil and wild chilli pepper are mixed with it to add to the vivid taste sensation. The hot kick of this dish works brilliantly with some of the milder dishes we chose.
This is a restaurant I would recommend to people who might be sceptical about vegan dining.
It prompted my non-vegan family to comment that they want to eat less meat…and that’s a good start.
