Tried out Mockingbird’s new menu and this burger sounded really intriguing (and did not disappoint) - Tandoori “chicken” pieces, with a spiced potato patty, red onion & tomato salad, mint coriander sauce & tamarind chutney in a beetroot bun ($17 NZD). I absolutely love the creativity at Mockingbird and their food is always beautifully presented. Would definitely go for this burger again, but I couldn’t help but miss my old favourite burgers from the previous menu - the 420 and the Carolina! And I really hope they’ll bring back the ‘bacon’ mayo!
