🤮🤮 #ruinedbycoconut I love what Kind Kones stands for as a brand and I love how creative they are with their flavours 👍 But I cannot love #coconut, not in my sweets 😥

I'm usually very judicious with KK, checking for enough counterbalancing flavours. This simplistic approach of "larger number of ingredients = less pronounced coconut taste" betrayed me this time 😔 For though this had firm notes of #cinnamon, #clove, #pistachio, and #nutmeg, supplemented with gentler #citrus touches, I tasted only the #coconutmilk in the base. They don't even use it in real #baklava, why here? 😒

And yeah, putting #filo pastry into something as moist as an #icecream just makes it soggy and chewy. That didn't work either 😐

Oh no! 😬 that’s disappointing. I’ve never/rarely tasted strong coconut flavours with Kind Kones in Singapore, but I hate that feeling of biting into too much coconuttiness where there shouldn’t be!
