I’m a huge Naturlí fan, I literally live on their vegan butter (which is not margarine, I reviewed it a few months ago), so when I found this at Sainsburys I was very excited. It’s not the first vegan mincemeat of this kind that I try honestly, for example I used and liked a lot Meatfree Farm as well, and I can’t really tell which one is the best! Probably because they’re both very good.
It’s a little scary that it resembles real mincemeat so much, but I think it’s more for omnivores. Not a coincidence that I found this product at the beginning of the meat aisle, as Sainsburys is trying to push omnivores towards plant-based meat.
Anyway, this mincemeat is great for making meatballs, bolognese ragu or lasagne (see photo 😄), its texture and taste are 100% accurate and in general it’s really versatile.
I bought it for £3 and will definitely buy it again for the festive period as I have a few recipes I want to make.
