I had this dish at Mukka , Fitzroy. It is a South Indian/ Srilankan dish called Idiyappam or commonly called as String Hoppers. The string hoppers themselves were very well made and fluffy and tasted nice. This is a rice flour based dish. The stew that accompanied it was not so flavourful. It was a coconut based stew with carrots , cauliflower and peas. The taste of the stew could have been better which would have alleviated the dish more. But overall, the restaurant has good vegan options.
