Even though I know, there was cilantro in both the salsa and guac, it wasn’t too overpowering! The salsa is really good! Not too chunky. Definitely a filling starter, so maybe get the small size instead of the large if you are going to also order a meal.

not my favourite. believe the brand is say hello sweets. the cookie had a weird flavour and it melted fast. BTW new restaurant name is The Burrow!

I chose the jalapeño quesadilla (other choices were cilantro, tofu or corn)with beans and rice(other choice was salad). You also have to ask for vegan as this is a vegetarian restaurant, but everything can be made vegan. The quesadilla was awesome, but the beans and rice were a bit bland. Rick had 4 different tacos and loved them, but I’m not a taco person...too messy. He also had their only vegan dessert which was a coconut chocolate chip cake which he loved.

I was pleasantly surprised by this vegan french toast with caramelized apples & maple syrup - SO good! To think this bread is gluten free is mind-blowing! So light & fluffy! This celiac is very happy! I’m not much of a sweet breakfast person, but I will DEFINITELY be purchasing this dish again 😋

I had this large and very tasty burrito at the Bandidas Food Truck on West Georgia downtown. I have had brunch at their restaurant on Commercial drive and it's always been amazing. This to-go lunch from their food truck was up to their usual standard of delicious, very hearty vegan food. Chipotle tofu, pinto beans, salsa, lettuce and vegan cheese inside a very distinctively good tasting wrap. It felt both healthy and comforting. The wraps that they use really taste good and add a lot of value to their burritos rather than just holding everything together and adding carbs. Their portions are always super generous and very satisfying! A fantastic spot for vegan lunch on the go. I hope to try their other burritos soon!

This is my favourite brunch item in all of Vancouver! And I've tried a lot of brunch. It's a butternut squash tofu scramble smothered in guacamole and salsa on top of the most delicious corn bread! Honestly, you cannot go wrong with this beautiful mess. Also, any of their menu items can be modified to be vegan! Their almond milk horchata is also delicious.
