This hot chocolate was delicious. Such a comfort food on a chilly day. ☕️🍫 We ordered one with soy milk and one with oat milk. Both were good! We could taste the high quality cocoa which was naturally sweet with a unique flavor. Staff was friendly. They had a lot of information about how the cocoa grains are sourced. throwback wednesday . . . I love going to nibble chocolate in old town San Diego because they always have a nice selection of #vegandessert. this #painauchocolat was a bit dry. it's the only thing i have tried from them that was disappointing so maybe it was an off day. it's worth a stop if you are in #sandiego. foto 2 is my cousin posing with an impressive prickly pear. #supportlocal

really nice vegan milk chocolate! i like how it’s soft & easier to bite on / break apart. also makes it easier for the choc to melt in your mouth 🤤 taste wise it’s pretty creamy, smooth, sweet but not overwhelmingly so 🍫🥰❤️

as scones go, this was OK. I usually find them a little dry and I did not have any coffee handy for dunking. It did have a nice lemon taste and was sufficiently sweet. It's so refreshing to see a display like this and know that everything is vegan! Old town is such an awesome place to visit. Almost everything is free and interesting. Plus it's close to public transportation so you can stop at any of the local restaurants for a margarita and take the train home. why not #ditchdairydrinkmargaritas ?

everything is vegan at this cute shop and they offer a few gluten free treats everyday. i got this gf banana bundt for my mom, who has celiacs. i liked it more than she did. it was very dense & moist. if i had to change anything, i would add walnuts. they have a nice sit down area to enjoy their treats with a coffee. i will definitely return! #banana #sweettooth #dessert

i really had every intention of saving this for breakfast but there were flight delays and more flight delays and you know what they can pave with good intentions . . . this cinnamon roll was amazing!!! abundant frosting, fresh cinnamon flavor, and gooey bottom. everything is vegan but they really captured vegan buttery goodness! now that i know where this place is, i will stop by every time i take the train to the airport. old town is one of my favorite spots in san diego. more on the next posts (of the food i managed not to eat in transit). #cinnamonrolls #cinnamon #sweettooth

i had a little time to kill in old town san diego before catching a shuttle to the airport and found this vegan chocolate shop through happycow. i bought a few pastries for people i am visiting but chose this one to eat right away. their prices are great, especially for being in the heart of a tourist area at the peak of tourist season. cookie was delicious! #veganpastry #vegancookies #cookies

I think this was the best hot chocolate I’ve ever tasted. The taste was extremely rich, like actual cocoa bean, not overly processed powder or sauce, and combined with the Oatly milk it was delicious. It wasn’t extremely sweet either, it was perfect! This is an all vegan shop that was a stand out. The cafe de olla was heaven. My husband said I was lying to him. We had just finished brunch at casa de Reyes next door and he had wanted cafe de olla and sadly they did not offer it. I took a few of the Bon Bons to go...mexican hot chocolate (my favorite), chai, lemon and hazelnut and just dark chocolate. All were fantastic. My one year old tried to eat a whole one herself. Their chocolate bars are only two ingredients...I took an 85% from Madagascar. Has notes of raisin in the taste and is just perfection. I can’t wait to go back.
