This pizza was the special at Lucé earlier this fall. Now we're back to the dearly loved butternut squash pizza, but this was a nice lead-up. This pizza has portobello mushrooms, rapini, red onion, vegan cheese, dollops of Lucé's house-made cashew "rinotta", and a generous drizzle of rosemary truffle aioli, on top of a spicy olive oil bianca sauce. This ended up being so cheesy and creamy! I've never seen them apply the rinotta in dollops before. I really enjoyed that! The truffle aioli was pungent without being too fungus-y. The rapini was a great choice too. We got a mailer coupon for a free appetizer with the purchase of a large pizza. This appetizer has fresh tomatoes with garlic and basil. It's a nice contrast to a pizza. For the bruschetta bread, you can choose to have it plain, topped with vegan cheese, or topped with Lucé's housemade riNOTa cashew cheese spread. Since the pizza had the vegan cheese, we went with riNOTa here. It has a little spice which is nice with the tomatoes and basil. There's a lot of liquid in the tomato mixture. It was time for a pizza night! We wanted something that would go well with The Herbivorous Butcher ranch that has been in the fridge for a while now. This is a nice basic pizza with just red sauce, onion, garlic and Beyond beef. I do wish their Beyond beef was seasoned to be more like sausage. I really liked this festive pizza. This comes around every year around St. Patrick's day. It has The Herbivorous Butcher bacon, vegan cheese, sauerkraut, green onion, vegan 1000 island dressing, and a caraway seed crust. The caraway seed crust really is a nice touch and rounds out the pizza. Oh my! This was excellent. It was served with Herbivorous Butcher’s bacon and Pizza Luce’s Rinotta cheese which is very garlicky. Crust was the perfect thickness and golden brown. Yum!

The Vesuvio is one of Luce's seasonal specials. It comes with Beyond Beef veggie balls, vegan cheese, Italian vegetables and basil. Not my favorite of the Luce vegan specialty pizzas, bit still a good choice.

This pizza is a seasonal special at Luce but it is so amazing that I wish they would add it to their regular menu! You have to request the vegan option, and it comes with enchilada sauce, peppers, pico de gallo, green onion, tofu, and vegan cheese. This is a really unique and flavorful dish!
