Lobster Mac + Cheese: noodles, “cheese” sauce, hearts of palm lobster chunks, Panko, “cheddar cheese.” The hearts of palm lobster are so freaking delicious in this mac and cheese! Like I don't even know what the hell hearts of palm are other than being vegan LOL This is a great restaurant in Lincoln soon to open up another brick and mortar location on 70th Street! The female owner Sara, makes some pretty bomb comfort food vegan options! I will continually patronize her! Vegan peace and love

Short stack of blueberry cakes (3) with a sweet tofu ricotta baked into them with a blueberry sauce on top and a little lemon zest! I made it a breakfast by adding Tofu Scramble and Smashbrowns! One of a kind taste! The blueberry muffins were loaded with blueberries and they were dense delicious from the tofu baked inside of them! And the blueberry sauce mostly consisting of blueberries; it was not a sugary syrup! Rutabagas Comfort Food is still actively serving vegan food in Lincoln mostly by means of a food truck which she is trying to purchase to own. Get Rutabagas food option notifications by simply downloading their app! Or you can check the business Facebook page but I tend to forget, so the app is a better option. Vegan peace and love

Perfectly sized cauliflower to fit on the bun and still have a slight crunch! The combination of flavors through the sauces and other ingredients make this sandwich deliciously awesome, especially the fresh ranch with a distinct Dill taste! I would buy again! Ingredients: breaded fried cauliflower in the hot sauce, ranch dressing, bread & butter pickle slices, tomato slice, spinach lettuce on a Rotella's brioche bun.

**NOTICE the three pictures and read on. Lol This was the first time I had cauliflower wings before and I'm so glad I chose Rutabagas Comfort Food! These breaded Chipotle wings were drenched in a highly vinegar based spicy hot sauce absolutely addicting!! They were served with a side of elbow macaroni salad which was good to eat in between the wings for a taste bud tease between the distinct flavors of each. I went into this restaurant to get this item to go and strictly told them I do not want any plastic products to be used, no napkins, no forks, no sack; the minimalist amount of packaging. I'm glad they served this dish in a very compostable cardboardish material container, but I was a little surprised they haven't already troubleshooted packaging fallout like I did. I barely consumed my last wing when the bottom just fell out. I am a C5 quadriplegic power wheelchair using individual so I could only clean up as best as I can until my next caregiver. I would definitely buy these wings again but be aware of the limited life of the packaging LOL!

This is the second time I've dined in this restaurant and the second time I ordered the Philly! The flavors are delicious, the tots are hot and crispy and the double banger sauce has the right amount of kick. I would recommend this dish (and restaurant) to both vegan and non-vegan family and friends.

This Kimchi Burger comes with a side of potato rounds with house Double Banger sauce! The vegan plant burger is dense and stays together very well and has a good meaty texture. Topped with fresh crunchy kimchi mix!

**This was a specialty sandwich so it's not part of their regular menu. The "Trevor" is basically one of the house burgers that is also topped with macaroni and cheese (vegan), roasted brussel sprouts and a single fried onion ring. This burger was too much to mouth put together so I individually ate the ingredients. Brussel sprouts and the onion ring we're 'pretty good.' The mac and cheese was very bland and lacked a real identity flavor. I really appreciated the flavor of the burger by itself solo in the bun! The recipe they use I think is perfect for flavor, consistency and just how well it stays formed together!!

This item is a specialty item and not on their regular menu. It's hard to tell from the picture, but this gyro was loaded with spicy seitan meat (wheat gluten). One of the highlights of this sandwich was it's use of cucumber dill sauce, delicious, I wish there was more on it!! This gyro tastes similar to an animal meat gyro butt still stands on it's own for flavor. The texture of the seitan was perfect!

This is one of the few items I have had from Rutabagas, I overall dislike. Everything looked good, but the meatballs themselves in this sub, I think were made with the exact ingredients of their signature Burger, which was disappointing because I wanted to experience a different taste. There was excessive oil on both sides of the hoagie bun. There was only three meatballs, but because I was not impressed with the taste, that was okay. Overall I think this sandwich does not demand for a $3 up charge, instead of $10 it was like $13.
