Slippery egg 🧐 but sans the egg 😗 Remember to #asktoveganize when ordering this! I like the clump-to-individual #kuehteow ratio they have in this shop particularly 😋 Short of mentioning how good the #wokhei is! The char on the #kwayteow naturally translates to a more #umami and complex #cantonese soup… gravy? 🍜 Just like everything else on their #hawkerfood menu, you get a good variety of #fakemeat and a #malaysianapproved serving of greens 🥬 I’ll let @stevenneoh report more on that once I bring him here later this year 😌 This’ll cost you RM7, just about market ask in our rising #kuching prices 🙂‍↔️

Oh lovely #foochow mee 😋 How you never fail to be one of the most lunches ever!! The #wokhei is on point on what seems to be the real noodles instead of the #yellownoodles far too many places seem to substitute with 😄 Translation? #lekker as ever!! This dish is #eggfree by default — even the #noodles 🐣 It’s great with the #serunding they sell at the #economyrice store and topped with lots of #cilipadi 🌶️ You get a fairly large portion at RM7 and frankly, it’s worth the authenticity 😇 Perfect place for a #malaysianeats brunch 🙌

Hello Kuching? New #bestpicks alert 🚨 I love #pickles, especially them 酸菜 pickled mustard greens or preserved #olivevegetable stuff in jars 🤌 You can literally #umami a can of Monster Energy and it’ll be better for it 💆‍♀️ Now, take that with some #noodles and you’ve got your this here piece of paradise 🦄 It’s really really indulgent but at a mere RM7 pinch I find that reasonable 😋 I only wish my body would allow me to eat that much grease more often 😭 If you were given a standard issue flesh suit like @m1tch9i you’ll quickly find this your #1 order here 😉 It’s got a fair bit of filling too! 👏 The sour is a little tough on some people, but they have #wrongopinions anyways 😏 Please try this spot if you’re ever #veganinkuching! #foochow #malaysianeats #soyummy

If you’re a fan of the now popularised #korean #tteokbokki you’re definitely going to want to try this 😋 It’s savoury, it’s #foochow, and it’s got the #wokhei thumbs up from @m1tch9i!! 👍 Chinese #ricecake is typically cut thinner and wider and gosh is it ever a treat to eat it 🤤 It will cost you RM8 but trust me, you’ll be better with it in your life 💆‍♀️ This is the only place that I’ve seen a #plantbased Bai Guo Gan 白果干 on the menu, though you’ll have to ask to #droptheegg when you’re ordering 📝 There’s bits of #charsiew and other #fakemeat in here but you’re only really going for that #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease fantasy anyways 😌 Remember, your doctor tells you to stop hurting your heart 💓 but then you alive alive heart will also pain 😠 so sometimes you need to cathart 🔫 My non-medical advise but good friend advice is that this is one of the most catharsis of all time. Eat up 😚

Oh yeah 👏 I’ve got a new #economyrice favourite nearby! 😝 It’s at this #foochow vegetarian spot that’s been around for a bit (though the name misleads you) that in my infinite wisdom I only recently decide to introduce @m1tch9i to 🤨 That’s right, I for some reason decide to 𝖏𝖚𝖘𝖙 tell my #foochow food deprived Foochow girlfriend that there’s a #plantbased Foochow restaurant sandwiched between all the other vegetarian spots we frequent 😮‍💨 Thinking not my strongest strength, come to think of it… The prices do be a pinch spenny at RM7 on average per plating but I do go for the more #protein heavy options since I’m bulkmaxxing atm 💪 Oddly #tempeh is never cheap in stores though they’re quite affordable at the supermarket 🤷‍♀️ I love their selection though 😋 They almost always have a decent #tofu / #tempeh / #fakemeat 🫘 selection and #blackfungus 🍄, #midin 🌿, and #kombu 🪸 to choose from 😗 They also open way up until 2pm 🕑, which is unheard of in the land of 10:30am lunch eaters 🫩 They’re closed Wednesdays but the world is your New Foochow Vegetarian otherwise 🤌 Highly recommended!! #veganinkuching #malaysianeats #malaysianfood #veganinmalaysia
