$16, pumpkin arancini with tomato relish. The #arancini were perfectly crunchy outside and soft and flavourful inside. A little expensive for a small starter. A good option for the area though. The website and Google menus showed that they used to have a few more vegan options but at the moment there’s only two - this and a burger. Bring back the variety pls! #brisbanevegans #brisbane

My partner and I thought we’d spend a morning at Old Petrie Town for the Sunday markets recently. I hadn’t been since I was a kid. It’s a heritage style town with old buildings, museums and a few market stalls and shops scattered around. The food stalls at the markets were minimal and we didn’t manage to find a single vegan option, but fortunately this old pub there surprisingly had a couple of options. The burger was $24 inc. chips, it was pretty substantial and very tasty. Had a hefty lentil patty, vegan cheese, lettuce, beetroot, tomato, vegan aioli and relish. Pretty good for a suburban pub in the outer north. #brisbanevegans #brisbane #burger
