I found this #dahl very watery and bland. there was a lot of fresh ginger in it, but none of the usual dahl seasonings. I added fresh pepper, which helped a little then sriracha, which helped a little. it needed a little mustard seed, cumin, and curry leaf. There was rice in there, but it was kind of lost in the wateriness. This was not marked as vegan, but the server told me it was. Maybe they omitted butter from the chapati. next time i eat here, I will stick to their chili. With all the upcharges, it's not really worth it to #veganize most of their dishes. I ate it all because I hate two waste food, but two cupcakes would've been more satisfying. 😁 #supportlocal #supportsmallbusiness and a creative use of terra-cotta pots.
