#jasminetea at RM15 per pot, regardless of if shared between 2 or 6 people 😅 We lucked in. Not much to say really, it did what it was supposed to do!

I was a bit disappointed with this 😐 Maybe the #soyabean required a bit more sweetness and a little less dilution; maybe #tangyuan really work better with almond rather than soy #mylk 😬 The #blacksesame filling was the same as that used in their 包子, and was the best part of this #dessert 😋

Marginally less pleasing than the black sesame #baozi I just reviewed, perhaps a bit more traditional 😏 #redbean aka 豆沙 is something with which my #sweettooth and I grew up, and it's #accidentallyvegan so yay I don't have to give it up 🙂 Vegan #yumcha in a place with few savoury #dimsum options 😬

I'm always a sucker for #blacksesame in any shape or form, any time of the day ☺️ Not sure it's a traditional filling for #baozi but I'll take it! We were doing #dimsum #yumcha in a mixed group and Din Tai Fung isn't amazing with savoury plant-based options, so we transitioned to #sweettooth fodder quite quickly 😋 To be fair this could've been sweeter, but yeah that's probably a personal preference 😅

Probably the best #dimsum dish that we got, the only one that we ordered seconds for. Vegan #yumcha is tough but we keep trying 😬 Chopped vegetables and #mushroom in a piping hot #dumpling, a straightforward classic but very pleasing if done well 🙂

Loved the presentation and everything, but really gutted that they couldn't give me the liquid explosion that I most associate with #xiaolongbao 😓 This one just has a thick #yam filling which gets a little dry to chew through. Was doing #yumcha with a large mixed group of omnivores and sensible people, so this was as good as it got 😐

This was a simple dish with noodles, veggies, and tofu. Din Tai Fung has a couple good vegan options!

Great flavor, though felt it was overpriced as nothing much was in the fried rice. Would be great to have some protein and more vegetables in it.

If you love yam you’ll love this dish (maybe you’ll like it too even if you are not a fan of yam). Chewy dumpling skin which isn’t thick, filled with smooth yet not overly sweet yam paste. Could finish the entire basket of dumplings if I was eating alone 😜
