This was the only thing I hadn't tried yet at Wen Cheng and some days ago I felt like this was the right moment. The broth in this dish is super aromatic, it comes with asian pickles, the tofu chunks were HUUUGE and I am a huge #mushroomlover so what can I say, I loved them too and only wish there were more. After 2 years eating the spicy version, I wanted to try the aromatic one. It's indeed very aromatic and fresher, no heavy spices here, I'd say it's perfect if you have a baby mouth. To me it was not 100% satisfying because I wanted something at least a little bit spicy and this wasn't at all :( I even left the restaurant feeling a bit hungry yet. Still, it's a very well done plate and I recommend trying this if you don't like spicy food. Wow, just wow 😻 I fell in love with these hand pulled noodles! Chonky and tasty, with a lot of condiments - homemade stew with fresh spices, Sichuan pepper, garlic, chili, coriander, spring onion, Chinese cabbage, roasted aubergine, soy mince and a drizzle of homemade Szechuan hot garlic oil. Simply perfect, it's a bit pricey and the portion is not huge but it's totally worth it and I swear you will feel satisfied after eating them.
