I LOVE these. Unfortunately it took me a while to work that out and in the meantime my Sainsbury’s stopped stocking them. The thing is, they have that slightly wobbly fatty texture that’s quite common in fake meat and is a very poor substitute when you’re craving chicken. So I ate them, thought “yeah that was okay” and forgot about them. But actually for spare ribs the texture totally works because they ARE supposed to be a bit fatty and squeaky. The sauce comes in a separate sachet to add half way through and it’s absolutely spot-on for the taste of Chinese spare ribs. I’ll be going out of my way to look for them from now on.

These sticky ribs were ok. The texture was a little off-putting as it was very meaty looking, almost in a bad way. I’m not too delicate with the realistic meat thing but these were a little too much. They were in a good but not very sticky sauce.
These were pretty decent as they had a good texture, however, I thought they were more just like beef strips than ribs. Sauce was ok but didn’t love them. Also get way less in the packet than it looks so a little pricer for £2.75. Don’t think I would buy again. #abillionlove #squeakybean
Lo he comprado por curiosidad aunque es un poco caro. Está realmente muy muy muy bueno pero me da mucha impresión su similitud con la carne animal. Se cocina súper rápido y trae una salsa estilo chino. Sin duda lo compraremos de nuevo porque es increíble. De Sainsbury’s por £2,75 (suele costar £3,25)
