Passionfruit & Mango Mochi

I’ve seen these #littlemoons reviewed by other #abillionmembers and looked forward to trying them. I really enjoyed the unexpected texture of the chewy, soft rice dough case, contrasting with refreshing ice cold #mango and #passionfruit filling. There are 6 attractive balls in each box, good for sharing. The pretty purple colouring of the rice dough is achieved with beetroot powder and spirulina and reminds me of fresh figs. I’m a big fan of their Hazelnut Chocolate mochis, but I decided to try this tropical flavor for a change. The mochi has that signature soft, chewy texture I love, and the vibrant colors make it extra fun to eat. The ice cream inside is sweet and tangy — a refreshing combo. That said, Hazelnut Chocolate is still my favorite, but this is a nice fruity alternative for when I want something lighter.

Put together a tropical fruit dessert bowl with this mochi, and it was on point for summer vibes. The mochi is sweet, fruity and just a lil bit tart, loved it!

Prefiro a textura de mochi normal (recheado com pasta de feijão) a mochi gelado, mas ainda não consegui arranjar vegan. Estes são bons, mas nada por aí além, o preço é realmente muito caro e, ainda que tenha gostado de experimentar, não irei repetir porque não achei nada de mais. Também não sou fã do sabor deste gelado já normalmente, mas não consegui arranjar a de chocolate. Claro que isso influenciou a opinião, acho que quem gosta de maracujá (e gelado desse sabor) irá gostar mais do que eu. Continuo curiosa com a versão chocolate mas não tenho pressa para provar... Se fosse um mochi vegan normal, a história seria outra...
