Original Flavor Cheese Slices

These #violife cheese slices can be found at most UK grocery stores. I usually find them on sale at Tesco or Sainsburys. They typically go for £2.50 at my local stores. I love the smoky slices but I started craving just a standard cheese for sandwiches and snacking. I find these to have a great but not overwhelming flavor. Been a long time since I’ve had Violife, their products became pretty hard to find. I’m not sure if I have even tried the #slices before but I remember liking their shreds. They taste fine, it’s a very delicate #cheesy flavour. No weird notes or aftertaste to it at all. It would be nice to pair with whatever other #sandwich toppings you’d like, no worries about the cheesiness overpowering the other ingredients. Though I guess the cheesy flavour could be lost if you pair it with something really flavourful. I enjoy the texture a lot! They melt easily and it doesn’t take a long time which is always appreciated. They turn nicely gooey, it does however not have that stringy cheese pull like dairy cheese does. The texture when it’s not melted is fine, it’s not the chalky starchy kind. I am just not the biggest fan of eating #cheese like this raw as they feel a little dry but it’s overall not bad when eaten like that either! Their cheese is #coconut based, though I do not taste any coconut flavour. Contains added B12! It’s #palmoilfree, #nutfree, #soyfree and #glutenfree. The packaging is resealable and has no mention about recycling. Clearly vegan and I find the design pleasant. 💵~62 NOK at Spar. It’s expensive! Each pack contains 10 large-ish #cheeseslices. I enjoyed it! Free from gluten, soy, dairy, nuts and preservatives. I love that I can have a grilled cheese sandwich with my tomato soup. Honestly, I cannot tell the difference between the cheeses but I am probably not a very good connoisseur. You see when I was raised and was taught to eat whatever I was given. So I am not a real good judge.
