Hazelnut Cocoa Sandwich Biscuit

I wasn’t sure what to expect on the taste of these because I was afraid it might taste too much like a protein bar, given that one small biscuit is 5 g protein. But they were on sale for a good deal, so I decided to give them a try. They tasted really good. Crunchy with a mild taste of cocoa and a light layer of hazelnut spread. This is made with a variety of ancient grains. I wish that I remembered where I got them because I would like to get them again. It makes for a quick and easy light breakfast with a glass of plant milk or coffee. Not sure why, but I imagined that these sandwich biscuits were going to be soft. They were crunchy and a bit dry. The hazelnut flavor is nice and a great combo with the cocoa biscuit. Not too sweet. These would be lovely with a hot coffee for dipping.

This biscuit is good, but a little dry. I like that it has 5g of protein and 4g of fiber.

I got this in a subscription box. Iy was a little crushed in transit and was near its best by date so maybe it's better than what I had. The cookie was good, the cream filling was pretty dry. Not sure I would choose this if I had other options available at the store. Made with sustainable palm oil, no mention of it being ethically sourced.
