I know I’ve shared all the fun food we bought out when visiting Hawaii, but it was a pricy trip so know that we also ate a lot of homemade foods after several grocery trips! Hummus and veggie sandwiches are the easiest beach or hiking lunch, so I ate a lot of these! I love Ezekiel bread for its nutritious ingredients, bioavailability due to the sprouting, decent protein content (5g per slice) and the texture/flavor! If you’re not used to this type of bread, it may not be your favorite. Very healthy tasting and they can get kind of dry but that's to be expected for frozen bread. They go well with spreads/toppings.
This was my first taste of Ezekiel bread. A little dry, but that was easily fixed with miso, mustard, and pickles on my veggie burger sandwich. The price will make it so I eat it more slowly, but I'll probably buy it again when I'm in the mood for bread.
My go-to bread. Healthy ingredients, tastes great, and has really good nutrition stats for bread. I love it toasted with almond butter and some berries.
