Eggless Kaya

Trying this after eyeing it for ages, and I’m so glad I did! I made a classic (vegan) butter and kaya on toast and it was so nostalgic!! I’ve always loved kaya, though I wasn’t the biggest fan of the super eggy ones, so this one was perfect for me. Excited to get Killiney's word (swipe ⬅️) that they would consider bringing their #veganfriendly kaya (coconut 'egg' jam) toast to their physical outlets. Yep, for now this eggless spread co-developed with Hegg is only available online. This long-suffering breakfast-eating vegan would really savour sitting down at a physical Killiney's outlet for a classic SG brekkie combo of kaya toast and kopi o kosong. They've already made vegan kaya possible so BRING IT. #eatlocal

Slightly more expensive than usual kaya, guess it’s cuz of the usage of eggless egg as one of the ingredients? Nonetheless it tastes awesome and is a perfect match with plain bread for a quick breakfast 🍞😋

Handmade vegan friendly kaya. Not bad at all but a lil sweet for me. It is not easy to find vegan kaya so am happy that this is available. Wish they can have vegan kaya toast in their menu so I can enjoy the good ol kopi and toast in the kopitiam.
